Is Challenger designed to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA?

Our platform is designed to support accessibility across the four WCAG principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.

Challenger is committed to providing accessible products and user experiences for all users.

Challenger’s platform is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to align with applicable Section 508 standards and guidance related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Our platform supports accessibility across the four core WCAG principles:

Perceivable
We provide text alternatives for non-text content, captions for prerecorded synchronized media, and structured content compatible with assistive technologies.

Operable
Core platform functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation. We avoid keyboard traps and provide users adequate time to complete tasks. Timed assignments may be adjusted by faculty through the custom exam creation process.

Understandable
Content is presented in a clear and predictable manner. User inputs are labeled appropriately, and errors are identified in text to support accessibility.

Robust
Content is implemented using standards-compliant markup to maximize compatibility with current and future assistive technologies.

Ongoing Accessibility Commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Challenger periodically evaluates platform functionality and works to improve accessibility in alignment with evolving WCAG standards.

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the platform, please contact our support team so we can provide assistance and continue improving accessibility for all users.
